#1218: Tire Pressure Goblins
May 05, 2012
May 05, 2012
This week on Car Talk, strange things are happening in the night: Bruce's tires are going from full to flat while he sleeps; Cynthia is adding Maalox to her engine instead of motor oil; and Jinx's romantic moonlight drive is interrupted by smoke billowing from the dashboard after he turned off his headlights. Smoke is also an issue for Henry in California. Actually, it may be more of an issue for his neighbor, who happened to be standing behind Henry's car when it made its morning billow from his tailpipe. Elsewhere, Lisa's Passat is sounding like a bad 1950's science fiction movie; and Michal can't understand why her partner becomes turn-signal averse as soon as he gets on the freeway. All this, plus a few subtle signs it may be time for a new car, and lots more, this week on Car Talk.
