#1441: Two Tanks in Every Trunk

Oct 11, 2014
This week on Car Talk, Cheryl’s brother has a brilliant solution to his rotting gas tank that could set the entire state of New Jersey on fire—but does that make his idea any less brilliant? Elsewhere, Mike wants to drive his truck into the ground. Oh wait, the truck's "belt habit" might have already beat him to it. Tamara is considering dumping her beloved Vanagon for a car with modern conveniences, like a horn; and, can Jim make it through a New England winter in a Civic with no heat, and no dashboard? All this and lots more, this week on Car Talk.
