Auto Repair Magic
Dear C&C:
It has been my observation over the years that if you take a carburetor (or a Volkswagen engine) apart and put it together enough times, you will eventually have two of them. I'm sure that you have observed the same phenomenon. Since you must spend several hours per day in the library reading all available automotive literature, you should be able to answer my questions:
1. Is there anything in the literature that corroborates my empirical observation?
2. If so, are there statistics that address the question of how many times various automotive parts (e.g., a carburetor,an automatic transmission, etc.) must be dis/reassembled before there are enough parts to make two of them? This has been a concern of mine for quite some time.
Thanks,
Dave Taylor
