RAY: This puzzler was suggested to us by none other than our very own producer, Dougie Berman.
In 1936, a car company made and sold a vehicle that could go 100 miles an hour. It wasn't the first vehicle that could go 100 miles an hour, though it may have been their first vehicle that could.
You can still get this car today. Not the one made in '36, that is. You can get the modern day version of it.
The question is, what is that car?
TOM: Now even though when you gave me this puzzler I got it immediately, I still think it's boh,oh,oh,oh,oh,gus. I mean I don't know how many car makes and models were made in 1936 that are still made today. That would narrow the field a lot.
RAY: Well, I'm going to tell you what the answer is: the Buick Century. It could go 100 miles an hour, hence the Century name, and it was a Buick, hence the Buick name.
TOM: Yeah, sure, sure.
RAY: So we have a winner?
