Who can I call to vent about my Dodge Grand Caravan?

Dear Car Talk | Oct 01, 2003
Dear Tom and Ray:
I have a 2002 Dodge Grand Caravan with 29,000 miles, which I bought new. So far, it has needed -- all under warranty -- a new air-conditioning compressor, new seals and a pump in the transmission, and a new electric control panel. Each time, the Dodge dealer has given me a rental for several days, but quite frankly, it's a pain in the neck. I would like to contact somebody at DaimlerChrysler headquarters to let them know how I feel about my car. I was given a number to call, but it's been busy for hours at a time. I would like to get the name and address of the CEO. Can you tell me who to complain to and how to complain to somebody? -- Liz
RAY: Oh, they probably gave you the same number we give all our unhappy customers, Liz: 1-800-KISS-MY-TUSH.
TOM: Actually, we have been asked this question many times, so we created a list of names and addresses of car-company CEOs on our Web site.
RAY: To find it, go to the Car Talk section of www.cars.com. Select the "Actual Car Information" area, and click on "Go Right to the Top."
TOM: In your case, Liz, the head of DaimlerChrysler in the United States is Dieter Zetsche. And the head of the Dodge division is Darryl Jackson. You can write to both of them at 1000 Chrysler Drive, Auburn Hills, MI 48326.
RAY: If you want to see HOW to complain, come home with me some evening and hang out with my wife for a couple of hours.
TOM: And if you need to reach my brother anytime after this evening, Liz, he'll be at 1-800-SLEEPING-IN-THE-GARAGE-AGAIN.
