This car was one of the first clean natural gas cars made available to the public (VIN is 99!). Who said a clean vehicle can't be cool? This was outfitted with all the options available, and was a clean car showcase for a internationally known clean air advocate. Later given to 16 year old son when I got a new CNG Civic, who had the coolest and only clean car in high school, complete with spoilers.
And because natural gas was so much cheaper than gasoline, everyone wanted him to drive, and was more than happy to pay for gas (important when in high school!). Son's car was replaced by a hydrogen-powered zero emission fuel cell electric Honda Clarity.
