I am happy to donate the vehicle to NPR/WSHU station. Yes, this car is very special to me and I had a hard time to let go as the vehicle as it is my first vehicle I had bought after I got my first job upon graduating from a masters program. I had so many "first" memories with this car. As an immigrant coming to this country and owning a car was a very pride moment and this vehicle had stayed with me close to 14 years.
On my first day of driving this car, I was going through stations to listen to music and came upon NPR (never heard of them before) and ever since that day I had never stopped listening to NPR. I had learned so much from NPR and their affiliated shows.
It is my go to the station on my way to work and on my way home. I even make my 6 year old daughter listen to it and she always says to me: why do you always listen to NPR and I tell her, "you will understand one day when you grow up." Hopefully my contribution helps.
