Okay, all. I promised a spine tingling new puzzler. So here it is.
It was a dark and stormy night. There was a night watchman on duty in an old warehouse.
He was walking down a dark hall in the middle of the night. He turned around a corner. At the end of that hallway, there was a door. Through the closed door, he heard someone cry out, "No, Frank! Don't! Don't shoot!"
And then, a loud sound.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
He throws open the door and runs into the room.
There he finds a doctor, a lawyer and a plumber standing over the dead body and a gun is on the floor next to the dead body. He walks up to the plumber and he says, "You're under arrest for murder."
How did he know?
Pretty heavy stuff, huh? Spine tingling indeed.
It is time to answer last week's puzzler. We all remember this one, right?
A dark and stormy night. A night watchman was on duty in a warehouse. Suddenly, he hears gun shots. Someone screams, "No, Frank, don't shoot! He runs into the room and he sees a doctor, a lawyer and a plumber. He walks up to the plumber and says, "You're under arrest!"
How did he know it was the plumber?
Here's the answer.
He knows that the plumber did it because the doctor and the lawyer are both women. And the murdered is named Frank, so the plumber has to be guilty, because his name is Frank!
I guess one of the women could have been named Frank. You never know.
But the plumber had the name 'Frank' on his name tag. So... he is clearly the killer!
