RAY: This puzzler was sent in by Mark Sackler. He writes, "This really happened to me many years ago, in 1984, to be precise. Here are all the facts.
"My 1982 Toyota Celica rear-ended another vehicle. The other vehicle was stationary at the instant of the accident. My car was unoccupied at the time of the accident. I was a passenger in the other vehicle when it was struck my car. And the accident was the other vehicle's fault and their insurance paid for the damage to my vehicle."
The question is, what kind of vehicle did Mark's car strike?

RAY: Here's the answer. His car hit a tow truck that was dragging his car.
Mark had broken down and had called the tow truck to tow his car. The guy hooked it up. He pulled away and, immediately, the car fell off the tow truck because it had been hooked up incorrectly. The tow truck driver, with Mark sitting in the passenger seat, slams on the brakes. The Toyota comes from behind and smashes into the tow truck, does a couple of thousand dollars worth of damage which the tow truck's insurance company had to pay for.
