I got my car from my dad when I was 18 and it has seen me through living in three different states, finishing undergrad, and moving to Boston. I've drove all the way from CO to WI to MA with my life in tow, not to mention countless hiking trips, late nights driving back from concerts with friends, and all the mundane trips to the grocery store and work.
If I wasn't playing music, I was playing my local public radio station and from the moment I got my car, I knew I would donate it to the local station wherever I landed when the time came. Nearly 10 years after getting my first car (and over 267,000 miles later!) Mags has made her last trip and the time came to say goodbye. I will miss this car, but I know that it is going to a good cause and to an organization I have loved the whole time I drove it.
