What paperwork do I need to fill out?

You'll need to have a clear title in order to donate your car. You'll sign the title as the seller and write Advanced Remarketing Services as the buyer. After the car is picked up, be sure to complete a release of liability form for your state (if applicable). Instructions will be in the confirmation email you receive once you submit your donation. If you have any questions, give us a call at 1-877-215-0227.

How much money will KQED receive from my car donation?

Our partners at Advanced Remarketing Services return 70-80% of the gross selling price for car donations back to KQED, to support the public radio programs you love.

Will I receive a tax deduction?

After your car is sold, you'll receive an email that includes a tax receipt. In most cases, donated vehicles that sell for less than $500 are able to be claimed as a tax write-off at the fair market value without filling out any extra paperwork. If your car sells for over $500, you can deduct the full selling price of the car. Consult with your tax advisor on how to claim your car donation tax deduction.
