- Answer some questions about the car and yourself.
- Choose a time and date to have your car picked up.
It’s that simple!
What else do I need to complete my car donation?
To complete your Missouri car donation, you’ll have to transfer the vehicle title. You can sign your title by following these instructions:
- PRINTING and SIGNING your name in the correct field at the bottom of the “ASSIGNMENT” box on the back of the title.
- Make sure it’s EXACTLY as it appears printed on the front of the title.
Can’t find your title? You can obtain a duplicate from the Missouri Department Revenue. You can learn more about title replacement by visiting the Missouri Department of Revenue website.
What will happen when my car is picked up?
On the day your vehicle is scheduled to be picked up, you’ll have to give the tow driver your completed title, along with the keys to the vehicle. After the car is sold, you'll receive a vehicle donation receipt for tax purposes.
Can I donate a car to Missouri Public Radio if my vehicle doesn’t pass an emissions test?
Yes! Vehicles in Missouri 1996 or newer (1997 for diesels) that are registered in St. Louis City, St. Louis County, St. Charles County, Franklin County or Jefferson County are required to pass an emissions test. If your vehicle is currently cluttering up your driveway because it failed, we’ll help you get rid of it and you’ll put it to good use. A vehicle donation is a great way to move that car along and support your favorite Missouri public radio station.
