- Answer questions about your car and yourself.
- Choose a date and time to have your car picked up.
It’s that simple!
What should I do when my vehicle is picked up?
To complete the car donation process, you’ll need to transfer the title. TITLES MUST BE NOTARIZED IN PENNSYLVANIA! Don’t sign the title until you’re in the presence of a notary. Here’s how to sign your title:
- PRINT and SIGN your name in the SELLER section on the back of the title.
- make sure it’s EXACTLY as it appears printed on the front of the title.
If your vehicle is missing its title, you can obtain a duplicate from PennDOT Driver and Vehicle Services. You can find out how on the PennDOT Driver and Vehicle Services website.
Can I donate a car to NPR in Pennsylvania if my car won’t pass an emissions test?
Yes! Vehicles registered in Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, and the Northern or South Central Regions must pass regular emissions tests. If your vehicle won’t pass and it’s clogging up your driveway, we’ll still take it. A vehicle donation is a great way to move that car along and support your favorite public radio station.
